“ Went back TWICE during our 3 day trip to DC. Friendly quick service, phenomenal coffees and breakfast munches. ”
“ Standard tatte very close to DuPont circle. Cozy interior with lots of natural light. Food is good as always and service was quick. ”
“ Great café, with delicious pastries, sweet & savory breads, and a menu of light fares, Mediterranean and others. I tried a chocolate mousse, a Spitzbuben (german jam butter cookie) with a cappuccino, truly amazing. I decided to have my lunch there and ordered a shakshouka with lamb meatballs; poached eggs in a hearty tomato sauce, onions and bell peppers, seasoned with cumin, cayenne pepper and garlic, to die for! I will return to try the rest. ”
“ Got a lattes & tiramisu & fruit (raspberry) cheesecake cup. Was very delicious & good portion for after dinner dessert. Place was a bit crowded for 7:30pm but we found a seat & our dessert came fast. ”
“ My favorite go-to spot when I was in DC!! This is the first place I went to when I was there. I did not know that it was a well known chain haha. I got the matcha lemonade which was so unique and amazing! I love matcha and lemonade so this was revolutionary. It has the citrusy taste from the lemonade with an earthy aftertaste thanks to the matcha. Their foods were just on par with their drinks. Their shakshuka, cakes, and halloumi breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Genuinely love and miss this place! Always recommend my friends to go! ”
“ Had an awesome experience here this weekend. I tried the seasonal latte, ginger and date oat latte as got it "less sweet". The flavors were definitely there and authentic to the title. I just wish it wasn't so gritty, I guess the mix of oat milk and the ginger left it a little thicker than expected. They had really nice 2025 calendars! So cute and I grabbed one! Of course it's impossible to leave Tatte without being tempted by the sweets.....I was in a chocolate-y mood and ordered the brownie with walnuts. I also got a regular brownie, a nut loaf (more like a tart filled with different candied nuts), fruit tart with half a fig on top (unique!), and a blueberry lemon pavlova. Service was quick and they are certainly used to being busy and cranking out orders. However, the lady behind the counter was very nice and helped me with some recommendations in picking my desserts. I had a lovely experience! This location is so pretty, even the outside of the building must have been an old bank because I almost didn't notice it was a tatte. The mosaic tiles right before the door were so cute. Plenty photo ops! ”
“ Definitely smaller than some of the other locations but just as charming and delicious. Great for popping in for a to-go coffee or pastry but dining in might be difficult since there's not a lot of seating. Cashiers and baristas are both very kind and friendly and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! ”
“ What a surprise to see a Tatte's in DC when I've only seen them in boston. The food didn't disappoint and neither did the service. Ambiance is that of a Tatte bakery cafe and made me feel like I was in boston ”
“ I absolutely loved this little bakery place. They had many sweet and savory food and drink options to choose from and seemed healthy conscious. Very clean and classy modern chic. I ended up getting the pistachio iced coffee and it was SOOO smooth and delicious. I also got their French Toast that was perfectly toasted with I believe greek yogurt like whipped cream that balanced out the sweetness of the strawberries and fruit. Great combination. My family got two different options of sandwiches and they devoured it. My little sister ended up with the pear jam pancakes and mentioned how delicious it was. I would recommend coming here. I wish we had one where I lived. ”
